| | Model of the car: | Tercel CE Automatic | | | General comments: | I really love the Tercel--I'm glad I got it under the wire--'99 is the last model year and I wouldn't be caught dead in an Echo. It is really reliable in all weather, and is phenomenal on gas. I once drove from Toronto to Detroit, however, and my tush was a-hurtin'. But let's face it, the Tercel was never really meant to be a long-haul highway car. I drive 33km each way to work every day and the tercel is really the ideal commuter car. I plan to keep it running for many more years--it only has 60,000 km on it after almost 3 years. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | -a bit under-powered esp. on merging onto a highway
-lousy stock speakers and radio
