| | Model of the car: | Toyota Tercel CE | | | General comments: | As a first time car buyer, this was a perfect choice for me. Reliable, very easy to maintain, good on gas. Some minor problems include(d): the rubber on the doors came loose, the fast forward and rewind buttons on the tape deck sometimes stick and don't work, the windshield wipers are rusting. However, I would recommend this car to anyone wanting a reliable, good car. I am now however, in the market for something newer and more sporty. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Can be a little loud - doesn't block out as much external noise when you're driving as some cars do. In about its second year the transmission had a small leak and it was fixed under warranty. I was told this was not an uncommon problem - it was often the same bolt that came loose on each of the ones they'd seen before so it must be a kink from the manufacturing end. | | | Previous car: | None |
