 General comments:I would highly recommend a Tercel to anyone. I got the car because I drive a company owned truck for Pizza delivery and we drive that thing into the ground, no problems at all! Its a Toyota, so I figured I might look at a small Toyota. I like the Shape of the 96 Tercel, its like a mini BMW 3 series! Its cute and its peppy and very solid. Too bad they had to make it look like a cheap car using the floor covering and that tacky shifter cover. I paid too much money for this used Tercel ( $ 8,850 w
 What things have gone wrong with the car:Long trips are kinda uncomfortable. There is no clock, side view mirror, no day night function on inside mirror, no fold down seat, no floor mats, not even a little "Tercel" sticker on the rear trunk lid, just says Toyota.The passenger side seat belt bangs against the body when on the freeway when the windows are rolled down, so i gotta buckle it when no one is sitting there. The 'carpet' is just felt and beach sand is never gonna come out. Doesnt take corners as well as my Corvair.
 Previous car:1988 Mazda 626, was a good car, much bigger than Tercel, but I like the Tercel over the Mazda.1960 Chevy Corvair, I still have this, I got the Tercel to ease a bit up on using the Corvair alot....The Corvair handles better than the Tercel so I drive the T
