The Tercel is quite enjoyable in stock form, but a few conscientous modifications improve it dramatically. First off, trade in the stock 13" wheel and tire package for some lightweight 15" alloys with 195 | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | 4-Speed manual transmission could use an extra gear and a shorter-throw shifter.
Getting blown around in heavy crosswinds.
Interior noise levels are high (if that sort of thing bothers you).
Vinyl seats wear out too quickly and feel cheap - replace them with cloth seats from a Paseo for increased comfort.
