| | Model of the car: | Toyota Tercel | | | General comments: | I paid 9k in 1993 when it only had about 6k miles on it. I would recomend this car to anyone that is looking for an economical car that you don't have to kep on fixing to keep it running. The car now has over 180,000 miles on it and it is still running great! We almost never have to take it to the shop and it has always been reliable. The paint still looks new even though we leave it parked outside all year round. A great car for a teenager or anyone that is watching there pocket book. Don't buy this car if you need something that has a lot of power or at least get a stick shift model. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | It could use some more power but it does quite well for a little econo car. It is starting to burn a bit of oil in its old age. The gas milage has gotten worse these last few years, but it still gets about 25 mpg. | | | Previous car: | We had a Mazda 626 that was not as old but it had a ton of problems. |
