| | Model of the car: | Toyota Tercel | | | General comments: | Though Tamaqua has had her minor issues and everyday maintenance, she's never left me stranded. Very reliable and a great "hug the road" feel driving down the road. Great for parallel parking. Can go 85 for miles and miles although it's a bit pokey starting out at lights or at the bottom of hills. Needs momentum I guess.
Anyway, she's been going through oil for a while and finally failed inspection. I decided that's served me well over the past two years and 60,000 miles of driving all over the place. The new valve seals, piston rings, tune up and 800 dollars etc will be worth it and will hopefully keep it alive for a few more years.
