| | Model of the car: | Toyota Tercel | | | General comments: | I bought the thing with 108k miles for $2000. Which i thought was a great deal (although I bought it in Compton which was scary) The right front headlight was gone and the instrumentation lights werent working. All of that got replaced. The alternator got replaced as well as the battery. Ive almost got 140k miles on it and those were the only problems with it. I kept it very clean and the vinyl dash looks great especially when you put some armor all on it. I love my car (i call it TT) and it gives me less headaches then all of my friends cars put together. I actually got it up to 105mph one time albeit the engine was really whining. I cant believe i got a speeding ticket with it though. I mean cmon, the thing is slow. Good value and still running well. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | IT HAS NO FRIGGIN POWER. (78 hp) I like fast cars but this is toooooo slow. Hills are my enemy. With more than 2 people in the car, the horsepower goes down rapidly. Alternator died on the 101 fwy in rush hour traffic while i was on my way to a trade show.
